Amalthea will be entering double digits this year. 2019 marks the tenth anniversary of the tech summit. As with any event a lot has changed over the last ten years. It has continuously evolved and got bigger and better. However, the one thing that has remained constant is the vision. The vision of Amalthea is the essence of it. It defines what it is and what it strives to become. Each member tries to acknowledge these points while working in it. Amalthea'19 will be a significant landmark in its history. It marks ten years of one of the country's premier technological summit. It will be a homage to the past with an eye towards the future.

About the theme
We have witnessed exponential growth in the development of technology and its applications in the past few decades. This development has surpassed the human imagination. Currently, we are in the midst of a revolution that is expanding the reach of technology in every horizon while making it accessible to everyone. From making the thinnest nanomaterial to reaching Mars, from building towering skyscrapers to imaging black-holes, we are making the impossible, possible. In the decennial edition of Amalthea, we recognise and appreciate this astounding growth in technology. We acknowledge the everlasting necessity of inventions for the evolution of humankind. “Transcending Boundaries” represents the ideology of limitless reformations and innovations surrounding us.
